Kristoffer Appel’s career is primarily centred on appearances as a soloist in concerts and opera, as well as performances with choirs and vocal ensembles, including the DR Concert Choir and Musica Ficta.
Internationally, he has also appeared as a soloist with the Trondheim-based Orchestra Nord in Norway, France and Colombia. In 2026, he featured on a new recording of songs by the Danish composer Tekla Griebel Wandall (1866–1940).
He is a graduate of LaGrange College in the United States, the Danish National Academy of Music in Odense and the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. Kristoffer also serves as a member of Frederiksberg Municipal Council with a particular focus on cultural policy.
