JIHYE KIM

soprano

Since 2015, Jihye Kim has been a permanent soprano with the Danish National Vocal Ensemble, and since 2022 she has also sung with the ensemble at Our Saviour's Church in Copenhagen and as a guest soprano with several vocal ensembles.

She has performed extensively in both Italy and Korea, with a particular affinity for the Italian, French and German bel canto repertoire, and has won several prizes in international singing competitions.

She graduated in Vocal Studies from Ewha Womans University in Seoul in 2004 and continued her studies at Seoul National University in 2006. She subsequently moved to Rome, where she completed her vocal studies at the Conservatorio di Musica Santa Cecilia in 2008.
