HUGH BECKWITH

Hugh Beckwith is a sought-after tenor soloist who has appeared in broadcasts on BBC Radio, as well as with English National Opera, the Royal Opera House and Genesis Sixteen Choir.

He conducts several British choirs and vocal ensembles, including Egham Choral Society, Elmbridge Choir and The Vine Singers.

Since 2022, he has been a member of the chorus at Opera Holland Park, where he has also performed solo roles. He has appeared at West Green House Opera Festival and was a Young Artist at Waterperry Opera Festival.

Alongside his classical career, he works in musical theatre, composition, teaching and jazz, and is a co-founder of the jazz a cappella group Standard Deviation.
